County Court Judge Dawn Denaro Appointed to Eleventh Judicial Circuit

On June 4, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Judge Dawn V. Denaro to the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court.

She is a county court judge for Miami-Dade County and previously served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. She received her bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and her law degree from
Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Denaro fills the vacancy created by the resignation of
Judge Jerald Bagley.

County Court Judge Renatha Francis Appointed to Eleventh Judicial Circuit

On June 4, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Judge Renatha Francis to the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.

She is a county court judge for Miami-Dade County and previously practiced with Shutts & Bowen, LLP, and served as an attorney for the First District Court of Appeal. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of the
West Indies and her law degree from Florida Coastal Law School. Francis fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Sarah Zabel.

On June 4, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Judge Andrea Ricker Wolfson to the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.

She is a county court judge for Miami-Dade County and previously served as an Assistant State Attorney/Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court. She received her bachelor’s degree
from the University of Notre Dame, her master’s degree from Southern Illinois University
at Edwardsville, and her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Wolfson fills the
vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Antonio Marin.

County Court Judge Scott H. Cupp Appointed to the Twentieth Judicial Circuit

On June 4, 2018, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Judge Scott H. Cupp to the Twentieth Judicial Circuit Court.

Cupp, 62, of Fort Denaud, is a county judge for Hendry County. He previously served in private practice and as an Assistant State Attorney for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit. He received his bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University and his law degree from Western New England University. Cupp fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Jay B. Rosman.

Jennifer Alexandra Alcorta Waters to the Martin County Court

On June 4, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Jennifer Alexandra Alcorta Waters to the Martin County Court.

Waters, 41, of Palm City, is a partner at Fox, Wackeen, Dungey, Beard, Bush, Goldman, Waters, Robison, van Vonno & McCluskey, LLC. She received her bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and her law degree from the University of Florida.

Waters fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Curtis L. Disque.
