County Court Judge Carlos Guzman Appointed to Eleventh Judicial Circuit
Governor Rick Scott appointed County Court Judge Carlos Guzman to the Eleventh Judicial Circuit to the seat previously held by Circuit Judge Ariana Fajardo Oshan. Guzman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and his J.D. degree from Villanova University. Prior to his appointment in 2012, he served as the chief assistant statewide prosecutor for the Attorney General’s Office, an assistant state attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office and a Special Agent/Legal Advisor for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He also practiced with Stephens, Lynn, Klein, LaCava, Hoffman & Puya.
