Governor DeSantis appoints Chris Bufano to Liberty County Court
On June 17, 2024, Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Chris Bufano to serve as a judge on the Liberty County Court.
Bufano has served as a Deputy General Counsel for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement since 2022. Previously, he served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Wilmington University and his juris doctorate from Widener University Delaware Law School. Bufano fills the judicial vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Hosford.
