Governor DeSantis appoints Sarasota County Judge Kennedy Legler to the Twelfth Circuit Bench

Judge Kennedy Legler, of Sarasota, to serve as Judge on the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court
Judge Legler has served as a County Court Judge for Sarasota County since 2023. Previously, he served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit. He earned both his bachelor’s degree and juris doctor from Stetson University. Judge Legler fills a judicial vacancy created by the enactment of Senate Bill 2508
